metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: A cockpit or flight deck is the areanear the front of aircraft, from which a pilot controls the aircraft. A cockpits on large airlines are physically separated from the cabin while the small aircraft is open and not separated. Without cockpit door,the compartment will open for everybody thus pilot be expose any kind of threat and the hijacking can occur. Most of the cases aircraft crashed because of the hijacking and how they hijacked the aircraft by move into the cockpit through cockpit door.Due to this factors, we have decided to built mock-up instead of doing for the sake of research alone. In this manner, the percentage aircraft crashed can be decrease and could save many lives in the future during emergency. Besides that, our mock-up give more space at cockpit with installing sliding door.Finally, through our Final Year Project we hope to contribute towards society by helping the safety on cockpit during emergency and save more live.
