dc.description.abstractThe aim of this project is to study about the fire retardant solution used for aircraft seat fabric. The purpose of this project is to create or come up with a self-made fire retardant solution that can be used on fabrics for making aircraft seats. By gaining some knowledge about it, improvement will be made to the current product and will be proposed to be tested according to the FAA requirements. This is to ensure the development of the fire retardant solutions is continuously improved in the future. Besides experiencing and testing, I hope to get as much information about fire retardant solutions and that this research can assist students in understanding about fire retardancy of aircraft seats. To succeed in this project some methods are used during the development period. This research focuses on modeling, processing and characterizing of fire retardant solutions and fabric combinations.en_US
