Abstract: The purpose of this project is to prove the testing of flammability of leather for aviation usage. This research will be divided into two parts which used different type of leather for testing the flammability and to verify the result for the testing of flammability of leather whether it can be used in aviation usage with accordance to FAR 25.865 and CS 25.1193 regulation. The first part which focuses on different type of leather that will used for testing flammability on vertical flammable machine .The example of the leather that are use for testing are cow leather and lamb leather . The temperature and the surrounding environment will be keep as control variable for this project. The second part is to prove that the result that we get from flammability testing is verified according to FAR 25.865 and CS 25.1193 regulation.
