metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: This project is about using Visual Basic programming knowledge in the development of compass swing and compensation as a tool to achieve the same result in traditional method. This project going through several objective includes how the application in visual basic as a tool in the development of the E-compass swing and compensation while the designing construction of program layout that suits with learning purpose when dealing with small aircraft compass swing and compensation by using visualization and data results. Thus to achieved this goal, this project used several sources which are from Civil Aviation Authority, Avionics Fundamentals, Journals, Civil Aircraft Airworthiness Information and Procedures, Visual Basic 2012 Programmer's Reference, Aircraft Instrument & Integrated system, Computer Programming Concepts and Visual Basic. There are steps by step process programming in the Visual Basic that enable users to use sufficient time with efficient and help to plan error free application that can produce the desired output. After that that the interface between the user and the application is friendly to use and at the same there is visualization to help with the understanding about compass swing and compensation lesson. The end product of this project is visual basic application that can be a tool in the construction of the compass swing and compensation for small aircraft and at the same time can be use as medium for beginner in understanding the compass swing and compensation..
