dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses on the usage of online learning for the teaching of English at tertiary level. The Covid-19 pandemic has raised significant challenges for the higher institution worldwide. When Covid-19 hit the world in 2019, the way of teaching and learning has been changed since then. Most of the universities changed the way of teaching and learning from face-to-face to Online Learning (OL). Online teaching is still using the same pedagogy as face-to-face with the use of the technology. This concept paper is further exploring the advantages and drawbacks of online learning, ways to overcome the disadvantages of online learning and why online teaching is the best choice to be conducted during this pandemic situation.en_US
