dc.description.abstractTechnical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is education and training which provides knowledge and skill for employment or students during Industrial Placement in Industries. Basically, system education of TVET uses in three item which is formal, non - formal and informal learning. For formal is education normally delivered by trained teachers in a systematic intentional way within a school, higher education or university like UniKL. Non – formal normally the structured learning situation which do not have level curriculum, syllabus and certification included programs developed by organisations or community. Furthermore, informal learning is any learning from experience or self – directed learning. UniKL organizations included UniKL MIMET is one institution under Ministry of Rural Development or known as Higher TVET institutions. As on higher TVET in Engineering Technology, UniKL MIMET Focusing on practical or hands on approach 60% with industrial exposure and linkages – 17 weeks includes Tutorial and Lecturer (T & L). There are six point to approach within 17 weeks includes practical & hands on approach or modular. In addition, UniKL MIMET also approach the learning environment through Student Centered Learning (SCL), Outcome Based Education (OBE), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Enhanced E-learning, Professional certificate, Industrialmanship and teaching factory, Entrepreneurship and GHOCS or SPICES ( Social, Physical, Intellectual, Career, Emotional, Spiritual).en_US
