The project, entitled "Portable lifter", focuses on innovation and development in product design and fabrication using trolley with the help of electromagnetic and air compressing pads to carry and carrying loads from one area to another area. This report describes an overview of the types, how and the work done by students of the Final Year Project with a Diploma in Engineering Construction and Maintenance. This project is being considered to help minimize and optimize workforce time at work and workshops. The main features of the design and fabrication of this product are easy to use and lightweight. This is especially important when the workspace or workshop is large. In addition, the project is capable to carry any types of metal using electromagnetic. Next the air compressor pads can hold materials such as glass and wood. Therefore, it is very important to make it very efficient without damaging the product structure. Features of this product are high strength of material, easy to use and ergonomic to ensure the product can carry heavy equipment. The objective of this product is to create products that can be used to solve problems in workplaces and workshops. Finally, it can contribute to the industry by innovating the design of existing products while enhancing product features with more innovations especially in terms of safety and user friendly.en_US
