Title: Development of Micro-Hydro Generator in House Plumbing System with Monitoring Device1
Authors: FARHAN HADI BIN AHMAD ZAINUL PARHI, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Electrical
Issue Date: 9-Dec-2019
Abstract: This project is a development of a small scaled hydrogenator that focuses on the house plumbing system. Basically, we are using the free flow of water in the pipe to generate enough power by installing the generator inside the pipe itself. The generated powers are then stored in power storage so that it can be used as an alternate energy source. By doing that, we can save a substantial amount of energy that are used in our daily lives. The system is also equipped with a monitoring system that can be access easily using our mobile phone with a little help from the internet. With it, users can monitor how much power per day that they have saved by applying this project end product as their alternate source of power in their vicinity. There are also a few limitations in this study such as the flexibility of the equation used in the making of the system, system efficiency and reliability and limitation of materials choosing, or the selection of software used for designing the system. Recommendations are also given to make the entire process more accurate and upgradable to make sure that some problem can be solved
