Authors: MOHD FAIZ BUKHARI BIN OTHMAN ZAILANI, Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical
Issue Date: 9-Dec-2019
Abstract: This project review about how technology can make it easy for application in the fish farming system. In this context, focusing using the Internet of Thing (IoT) where nowadays a lot of application can monitor and control using this application. Nowadays, the fish farmer had several issues about taking care of fish. The first issue that they had to manage or taking care of their fish manually by monitoring the fish every day and using a lot of manpower to taking care of the fish. The solution to these issues is this project is to design and construct the automatic fish farming system so that the fish farmer doesn't need to monitor or taking care of their fish manually. This system also can monitor and control using apps through the sensor. The second issue is the fish farmer need to feed the fish manually every day. For these issues, the system will help feed the fish automatically for every day by set up the timer using the apps. The system will be using the Arduino to control the system and reading the data from the fish tank. The data that get from Arduino will display at apps Blynk, from that the fish farmer can monitor their fish tank through their smartphone. Compare with conventional it show by using these automated control and monitoring system. It show that the growing rate of the fish can increase. This smart fish farming system is the efficient system that can help the fish farmer to increase production in fish farming. for future recommendation of this project it can be added a water temperature sensor and dissolved oxygen (DO). By combining these sensor it will increase the growing rate of fish.
