Abstract: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is used for vehicle safety protection in which this system has the ability in reducing the stopping distance. The purpose of this research is to compare the efficiency of stopping distance between no Anti-lock Braking System control, Bang-Bang Control and Fuzzy Logic Control on three type of surface which is dry, wet and snow. The analysis is conducted using MATLAB software. The results show the fuzzy logic controller provide the best efficiency result with 26.67% on dry surface, 35% on wet surface and 5.48% on the snow surface compare to bang-bang controller result with 6.67% on dry surface, 15% on wet surface and 4.11% on snow surface. This is due to fuzzy logic controller had an input and output, rule and membership function that ability to obtain control more efficient. As the conclusion, the design of the ABS control system can be improved by using fuzzy logic control for future vehicle technologies.
