Abstract: This thesis contains a research on evaluation of green port factors and selection of key determinants. The research was held at Vale Minerals Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. which is one of the biggest iron ore distributing company in Asia by using questionnaire survey and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methods. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that could significantly influence the requirement for green port operations at Vale Minerals and to develop an AHP model for decision makers to identify the level of green compliance in Vale Minerals. This thesis concludes with the identification of the key determinants and also with the result calculation on analytic hierarchy process based on the questionnaire answer that have been distributed to the company.
