Abstract: Objective of this final year project is to analyze the welded joint for each different bevel angle based on their stress distribution. The parameters are been varied to achieve this simulation. The variable parameters were current, voltage, and welding angle. This simulation included two analyses which is Thermal Analysis and Structural Analysis. For thermal analysis the study of weld joint temperature will be conducted. In structural Analysis, Von Mises Stress and Maximum Principal Stress are been studied. Two types of welding parameter have been studied thoroughly in this simulation which is welding current and bevel angle. The welding current are been set which is 90 ampere, 100 ampere and 110 ampere. For bevel angle, it consists of four types which are 15o, 30o, 45o and 60o. These welding parameter are been followed to make the simulation successful. To set up a heat input, a calculation has been made using the heat input calculation. In Thermal analysis, the maximum temperature recorded is 1132.5 °C which is at 15° of bevel angle. For structural analysis, the maximum value of Von Mises Stress is at 149 MPa and the Maximum Principle Stress is 187.96 MPa which is at 15° of bevel angle.
