Issue Date: 26-Feb-2019
Abstract: In modern times, all packaging substances generated are made up of recycling material such as plastic, aluminium and paper. Different material needs different recycling processes such as printer cartridges, plastic bottles, plastic bags and especially aluminum cans of drinking water. Furthermore, recycling aluminium cans that is not pressed in advance will always experience the massive amount space they can take up to package them. Thus, the user and collector of this cans are dealing with trouble of storage after collect it. To solve this problem, Automatic Can Crusher is the right solution to help the user or collector of drink cans to crush cans easily and automatically. This project is based on automation plant that do the crushing process. Crushing process is a process that crush the drink cans by using high force. The automation plant will be crushing the drink cans into flatted. This project is about designing and connecting an Automatic Can Crusher to help people easy to crush the aluminum tin and soda cans. Furthermore, this project used to be determined that the crusher was giving extra precision and efficient in crushing operation as compared to step the cans by using feet and this project additionally decreased the operation time be able to reduce the labor value and the damages caused during step cans by using feet is eliminated. After the design has complete, it will be transformed to its real product where the design is used for the guideline. With the existence of this project, an Automatic Can Crusher by using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) can produce to simple minimize the volume of cans as well as to relieve human burden.
