Abstract: In today’s world, power saving is very important. Though there are many power generation methods, it has become very challenging due to insufficient resources. So, the power saving is needed for our society. A Street light, lamppost, street lamp, light standard, or lamp standard is use on the road, street and the place that need light. It also turns ON at certain time which is at every night. The main advantages of street lighting include prevention of accidents and maximum in safety. Hence, the Development of LED’s Streets Light Power by Solar shows on how street light can save the power of lights and reduces the period to give maintenance for the faulty lamp. The system comprises three features to provide better brightness by using suitable type of reflector, to reduce the maintenance for faulty lamp, to provide the street lamp that using rechargeable battery and not depend on other sources. This paper presents a LED Street Light Powered by Solar which combines various technologies: a solar panel, LDR sensor, Light Emitting Diodes (LED), rechargeable battery, charging system, LDR sensor, I2C 16x2 LCD display, current sensor and voltage sensor. The LDR will detect the presence light. When it detects the light the street light does not turn ON, while the LDR do not detect of present of light it will turn ON. The PWM solar charging helps to control the battery from overcharging and increase the period of the battery. The Arduino will control the system and as a brain of the system. The I2C 16x2 LCD display the value of voltage at the battery and the current at the solar panel.
