Abstract: Analysis and development of fraud prevention algorithm for athletic events is a study that has been done to solve the cheating among runners. These athletic events usually involve huge number of participants who are required to follow a predetermined route on a certain range. Due to the reward being offered, there are many cases of cheating such as bib-swapping and shortcut path. In this study, I have to analyze the important parameters associated with the events and develop a fraud prevention algorithm which able to detect such cheating cases. Analysis of this study should be conducted on these signals to study the discriminate between genuine and cheating cases.
