dc.description.abstractNowadays, living in the world with rapidly developed technologies is so challenging. The usage of electricity is demanded but make people tend to waste the source more. One way to reduce the consumption of electricity is by limiting the supply used to operate the household appliances such as washing machine. The aim of the proposed project is to develop an eco-friendly and user-friendly washing machine. This project is convenient and efficient to use as it will be supplied with solar power. Then, it will not only limit the electricity and water consumption but also it will make people’s life easier. As the proposed project is portable, people can easily bring and use it anywhere. User can also control the speed of the motor by using an Android. The method implemented in order to achieve the objectives is the interfacing between Android with Arduino UNO through Bluetooth module. Then, the rechargeable li-ion battery is used as the medium to store the solar energy before it is converted into electrical energy. As mentioned before, the proposed project is portable because the design is smaller rather than the existing washing machines.en_US
