dc.description.abstractThis project entitled “Portable Toolbox For Welding Tools” focuses on innovation and development in fabrication of product in order to utilize the uses of toolbox to carry more tools and do more work than normal toolbox. This report describes the overview of the types, how, and outcome of works done by the students of the Final Year Project for Diploma Engineering Ship Construction and Maintenance. This project is being considered to help minimize and optimize the time of workers in the workplace and workshop. The main feature of this product fabrication of the toolbox is it is easy to handle and lightweight. This is very important when the workspace or workshop have large area. Hence, it is very essential to make it very efficient without damaging the structure of the product. The characteristic of the product is high in strength of material, easy to use and ergonomic in order to ensure the product is able to carry heavy tools. The objective of the product is to fabricate a product that can be used to solve problems in the workspace and workshop and to facilitate all the tools compiled easily that can contribute in the industry by innovating design from existing products beside improving the features of the product with more innovation especially in terms of safety.en_US
