dc.description.abstract | This paper is about design and development of temperature controller using two types of heatsink that installs in vehicle. The interior temperature of vehicle would increase under direct sunlight. It causes bad impact on user comfort and leads to heat stroke incident that could cause death. Temperature controller is used to reduce the interior temperature of parked vehicle with the additional of alert system. The ventilation system applied with utilizing the thermoelectric cooler element and fans system to accelerate the heat exchange. From the results obtained, the temperature controller with alert system had decreased maximally 6.C of interior temperature of vehicle. It able to decrease the interior temperature of vehicle in 8 hours but the efficiency drops in time. The PIR sensor also worked efficiently in sensing any human motion at the back seat when the interior temperature is 40.C or above. The system recognized to prevent the heatstroke incident and also alert the surrounding people that there is people trapped inside of vehicle. | en_US |
