dc.description.abstract | The general purpose of this project is to design and develop a device that can detect the hotness of the dried chili without tasting or cooking. The mechanism used to detect the hotness of the chili by using the hot chili detector whereby it has the same concept used as a measuring the heat of the chilies. This project is developed because Malaysia has a bad health record of people who got gastric. Gastric occurs when people always eat the spicy food and it will stimulates the exceeded acid in the chili and people easily will get the gastric. Hot chili detector will help the users to select the right chili before cooking. This project is developed using the Arduino Uno acts as a microcontroller, photodiode sensor acts as an input and the Liquid Crystal Display acts as an output. After the photodiode sensor detect the chili the Liquid Crystal Display will display the status of the dried chili either it is hot chili or normal chili. The DC signal pattern and volts as unit of measurement of the hot chili detector. The hot chili detector was found to be one of the best methods to test the hotness of the dried chilies. The main focus of the study is to detect the hotness of the chili and new development technique will be proposed. The research study will conclude with recommendations. | en_US |
