Abstract: This research proposal is about to study and discover the Plastic optical fibre (POF) can be develops as a multi sensor. Throughout this study several different approaches have been investigated and demonstrated to see the outcome can achieved the aims and objectives. The study is conducted in the laboratory environment due to the need of light control and the fibre sensitivity. The procedure and its method completed by software and hardware tools by university grant. POF can be develops as a multi-sensor because there are method approaches taken from the studies conducted by improving the other studies research. This research have been develops due to several identification from industrial developments due to the importance and needed to have a very precise and highly sensitive sensor. By then this project made for upgrade the POF speciality and identify new order of applications that can be used better for the future. Since to prove the abilities of POF as a sensor a few lab equipment tools is needed and several apparatus and material are prepared based on the subject research to imply the whole project research. Instead of that this research lab equipment must work together with lab software tools where all the data of input and output been collected and analysed. The lab procedure on how to handle an experiments are identified by time lab demonstration made which this will be a higher platform to meet what should be at the outcome at the end of lab. Before the inner part of the research been identified a framework have been done by doing a flow chart to identify step need to be taken which this action will be count on the implementation of the research project. The sensitivity on POF of colour spectral wavelength and salts intensity can be determined through this method.
