Human skin is the largest immunological organs and is affected by innate, adaptive immunity, as well as both external and internal factors. There are many type of skin diseases; as they may seem similar to one another, in fact they are different and it is important to tell them apart. This research focuses on atopic eczema skin disease which can also called as atopic dermatitis. Atopic eczema is a type of hypersensitive and inflammation that causes redness and itchiness on the skin. This study describes on the investigation on human skin tissue in order to differentiate between skin disease (atopic eczema), healthy and normal skin using image analysis technique. This technique is safe as it does not give any side effects to patient and provides benefit especially in helping dermatology experts to do further analysis and improve the current treatment toward patient with skin disease. This image analysis implies Line Profile Technique by using Pixel Profile and LabVIEW software programming. The sample collection of local and oversea subjects is obtained from Hospital Kuala Lumpur and online database respectively. As a result, comparative, statistical and graph analysis studies provided from this image analysis using Line Profile Technique could be interpreted for further evaluation.en_US
