Abstract: Underwater Lighting is the most important part in swimming pool but nowadays the underwater lighting has many disadvantages. This project deals with advanced underwater lightning using fibre optic. It presents two sensors that ultrasonic sensor and light dependent resistor (LDR) for make the circuit function with situation. Its operation is based on microcontroller Arduino Uno R3 programmed in C language. The ultrasonic sensor and light dependent resistor (LDR) are interfaced to the ports of the Arduino with the help of AT commands. When the light dependent resistor (LDR) detect the dark situation, it will turn on the white lamp (indicator). As the same, when the ultrasonic sensor detects any obstacles (human) the fibre optic lamp in the swimming will light on. This project is expected to ease people in swimming and thus saving money.
