The figure predicted to be increase every year. Solid waste is one of the three major environmental problems in Malaysia. Therefore, in order to overcome this problem, a smart garbage management that known as Project GreenBin purposed. . A smart waste management system is a component of smart cities. This project will be using the latest technology that enabling the Internet of Things (IoT). This bin will be equipped with a single microcontroller board that has the ability to transmit data via Internet. This Internet of Things, (IoT) based project provides a data control management to manage our household waste.
