Abstract: In today’s world there is a increase in the use of vehicles. Such heavy automobile usage has increased traffic and thus resulting in a rise in road accidents. The most important thing when the accident happen is in time notification to the related parties immediately. In many situations, the victim cannot notify the other parties about the accident such as the victim is unconscious, the victim not sure the exact location where the accident happen and also the victim is too panic to take necessary action. Therefore, the main objective of this project is to detect an accident and automatically generate and send a Short Message Service (SMS) containing the location of the accident to related person. This is done by placing a shock sensor in the vehicle and when an accident occur, the shock sensor will be active and the location information will be send to the other person . From this project ,it can reduce communication gaps in reporting accidents location. This project can be one of the alternatives for drivers or motorists to help them notify the appropriate party regarding the accident that befell them automatically.
