Title: Motorized Trash Can

Abstract: The importance of Motorized Trash Can has been increased drastically due to fast increasing rate of efficient cleaning demand in Malaysia which is set up by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) nowadays. The motorized trash can have to operate with stand-alone even though when there is no man power in public or residential areas and developing are such as in city. Hence, operation conditions and constructible possibilities of the project must be determined. In this study, the role of motorized trash can has been investigated. In order, this will give advantages to the user utilize cleaning process. Then, the motorized trash can has been obtained by being combined two types of technology. The ultrasonic sensor has been placed on the front of the trash can of project to detect obstacles. The conveyer control by DC motor has attach to front of project to collect and trap trash. This project is developed from a normal motorized trash can which just use ultrasonic sensor and has been upgraded with adding the remote control as for manual mode.
