Title: Development of Automatic Grill Safety Alarm System With Magnetic Lock

Abstract: Development of automatic grill safety alarm system with magnetic lock was designed to suit our everyday life. The project the safety alarm system will use the technology of smoke detector, magnetic lock and PIC. The reason is very simple and understandable; from the system we can save human life and their properties from getting burn. In this work a review of existing fire-detector types has been carried out along with the development of a low cost, portable, and reliable microcontroller based automated fire alarm system for remotely alerting any fire incidents in household or residential areas. The aim of the system designed is to alert the distant property-owner efficiently and quickly by sending short message (SMS). When a fire happens, it will be detected by the smoke detector, and the smoke detector will trigger the relay and will automatically unlock the grill. This is very convenient to the user who is not at home and is away from home. If the user could not make it back home, the project will be equipped with a siren, function to alert people inside and outside the house. Therefore, their neighbour can help the person who is still in the house.
