Current consumption is one of the most important issues in this recent years and consuming more electricity is one of the factors affecting it. Nowadays, the statistic shown current consumption that use the most is from domestic sector such as household area, schools, building and industrial area. Furthermore, the current issue that happened now in Malaysia which is El Nino phenomenon. Because of this many people especially on household area started to use more current energy as example start using the air-conditioner for a good environment. The objective to complete this project is to build simple electricity current monitoring system also it will help consumers to measure current consumption for household application. This is alternative solution to monitor energy consumption. This project works by using Current Transformer (CT) sensor non-invasive as input connecting to single phase 240VAC and Arduino functioning to process the data measurement from input, and lastly the output will be display on serial monitor using Arduino IDE. This project expects that consumers will be more awareness about current consumption. Also helps to improve consumer's behavior and allow consumers to monitor electricity usage daily. To be preparing, this project focus to help domestic sector using current in efficient ways.en_US
