Ios Application: Traditional Mak Yong Dance

Abstract

This study is made to develop a digital version of Traditional Mak Yong Dance. The study aims to develop an advanced electronic iOS App that provides an effective content navigation and also a content structure. This iOS Application will be called ‘iMak Yong’ and developed mainly using Adobe Flash CS5.iMak Yong utilizes the power of Adobe Flash with deep-linking and ActionScript 3.0 approach. Knowledge, an importance aspect in life, is the priority in developing this application. Therefore it is knowledge and information that the users will get when they start using the application. Information from the ‘Actors’ to ‘Dances’ are the types of knowledge that they will get. It is a step forward in putting our Malaysian culture to the spotlight and let the next generation know where our culture came from.
