Abstract: | The flood will become too much strain to the affected persons. Today’s, flood occur not only in rural area but also in the urban area which has good management of drain facilities. The situation for the occurrence of the flood cannot be predicted but precaution on the risk of life and the reduction of the properties destruction can be taken. Time is needed the most in order for the people to prepare for the occurrence of the flood. One way to reduce negative impact of the flood is to build a system that can be informing the affected person about the flood situation. So this system has been built by using a cheap and easy way to solve the problem haunted them. Flood detection system is a system that was used to detect the rising water level at the commercial vehicle. A signal will be send to the main system when the water level rises. The main system will inform the rising of water to the vehicle owner by using SMS. The benefit of thus flood detection system is it could minimize the loss of life. The vision and definition of the purpose of the flood detection system could be expanded as a means of establishing public safety, reducing damage to property and relieving public anxiety during flood. |
