dc.description.abstract | This report discuss about a system which generates SMS ticket in place of printed paper ticket, through E-Numerical Registration Device Design for Counter Operation. The ordinary queue management system disadvantages is it cannot notify the customer when their turn is about to come thus will make the customer tendency to miss their turn call if they not in the area of the announcement make and not hear their turn call. E-Numerical Registration Device Design for Counter Operation is different from other queuing management systems. The system not only allow for a more effective customer queuing service, as it sent a SMS ticket notification message to inform the customer when the customers turn to be announce. This system also eliminates printed paper ticket thus providing greener environment. The system presented here uses GSM module technology, a mobile phone serving as the main server and a microcontroller, making it embedded in nature. The entire system is controlled by an Arduino Mega, and the input into the mobile phone is inserting through the Android. The design depends fully on the perfect synchronization between the three major elements of the system which are GSM module, mobile phone and microcontroller. The system is currently in progress to complete and the work is done by following the schedule that already being determined. | en_US |
