Title: | Development Of Rain Energy Harvester For High Rise Building |
Authors: | Mohamad Razali bin Azizan Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical |
Issue Date: | 16-Feb-2016 |
Abstract: | The rain energy harvester will harvest electrical energy by conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy. During the rainy day, the rain water will flow through the pipe thus will rotate the turbine. The rotating turbine then will produce electricity in direct current (D.C). Then, the electric energy will be stored into a lead acid battery. In this study, the process of the generation, factor that will affect the output of generation and feasibility of the rain energy harvesting are investigated. Therefore, by increasing the amount generators and batteries, the rain harvester would be more effective in terms of power generated and capacity of stored power. |
