metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: This report is about the study on usage of Chemical Bird Repellent to chase birds away from UniKL MIAT area. It capable to release chemical automatically with a time interval. The device is simply install on preferred area with large flock of birds hanging around the area. The birds will fly away because of the smell of the chemical used. The birds fly away because of the smell of chemical which is WD40. The relationship between bird species sighted around the determined location with time intervals, and also the testing done with the number of bird droppings are taken into consideration. Besides, the weather condition during the experiment also been observed to determine the accuracy of the experiment. Based on the data collected, WD40 is suitable to chase the birds around UniKL MIAT area.
