dc.description.abstractThe design, fabrication and performance of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) either it works in order replace the existing power sources for the prototype of the boat as training purpose in this research. In this study found the characteristics of output power of fuel cell is similar to batteries without any inefficient combustion steps. A fuel cell converts chemical reaction into electrical through fuel (anode side) and an oxidant (cathode side), which react in the presence of an electrolyte, whereas batteries converts from chemical energy to electricity as the reactants and must be recharged. In addition, testing the performance and life expectancy.en_US
