This research is a study about the relationship between water quality and the growth rate of barnacles using marine grade alluminium as the medium. The water quality on proposed locations are examined base on several parameters; pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity and nitrate phosphate. This study focus in three selected locations which are UniKl MIMET Slipway, Damar Laut seashore, and Lumut Port. Observation from the experiment is then collected and analyse using graphical method and area estimation method. The results shows the growth rate of barnacles, which is directly interrelated with the quality of water where Mimet Slipways gained the highest water quality while Lumut Port’s location has the lowest quality of water. There upon that, from the analysis it can be proved that those parameters of water quality is important for the growth rate of barnacles with regards of the estimated time.en_US
