Abstract: Traffic congestion is a common problem in urban areas particularly in major cities which needs to be addressed scientifically due to its many factors. These many factors envisaged that led to this phenomenon such as the traffic density, series of road intersections, traffic light systems, social disciplines, human behaviors and driving errors. As such, traffic control and traffic modeling in urban areas are found to be extremely complex to deal with. Even for a simple road junction in a busy city there will be no definite solution to the problem. With multiple junctions, this issue will obviously become more critical as the effects on the first junction or intersection that governs with the above factors consequently influence the flow of traffic within or even beyond the city’s road network. Another complication is that the flow of traffic is usually irregular in nature. This research project is made to study on implementation of Electronic Road Pricing in the case of Kuala Lumpur city center. It is because based on the observation and article shows that the congestion level on the city could not be reduced as partial the level of road users keep increasing for the time being. In matter of fact, there will be more vehicles that have a tendency to stick in the same congestion at the city. Thus several action need to be taken to endure this sickness that been faced in Kuala Lumpur city center.
