Title: Android Based Universal Remote Control

Abstract: Before this the consumer need to use different remote to control every device. There were a lot of problems when using the different remote because it might be misplace the remote. Therefore, Android Based Universal Remote Control is one alternative that can control the electronic device. It will make end user easy to use one remote to control device using Smartphone. Since Smartphone is a must items in our life. Android Based Universal Remote Control is function to control electronic device using Smartphone. It uses Arduino board and Infrared transmitter and receiver, to transmit and receive signals. With the technology still at its infant stage, a lot of automation needs to be done to prepare for a better tomorrow and the need of the hour is to stimulate the best use of growing technology. The final report is organized to show the project stage from plan scratch to until the Android Based Universal Remote Control became possible. This report, it may include all circuit, illustrations, software and basic functional of this project. Here all result from the discussion, troubleshoots and the problem is showed clearly. This report also shows this project system functions and shows how the coding is interfaced with hardware. The operation explanation from the block diagram and the future of this project also included to showing it clearly. At the last task also showed a recommendation about the future development of this project and it weakness, and how to overcome it.
