dc.description.abstractAlmost every Muslim either fully practicing Islam or not is seriously concerned about what he or she eats. Muslims observe the divine laws in every aspect of life. There is a complete code of dietary laws present in the Holy Quran for the followers of Islam. Some basic principles are described as all foods are permitted except those mentioned clearly in the Holy Quran. In this study, we will delve deeper into the aforementioned issue, which is Halal logo and the concept it brings, in order to highlight on the topic of the improvement on Halal certification, processes, procedures and challenges in implementing the Halal logo. Surveys were given out and interviews were made. A conclusion is reached at the end of the research project and some recommendations were also given out.en_US
