Teaching Fuzzy Logic to undergraduate engineering students can be a time consuming and expensive task. Lecture sessions cover the theoretical aspect of Fuzzy Logic and laboratory exercises allow the students to visualize, experience and appreciate the application. To implement the algorithm, a typical numerical computing software such as MATLAB, LabView etc. are used during the lab session. This paper presents a comprehensive Fuzzy Logic laboratory using low cost microcontroller based temperature control system. Hardware details of the physical model and the software implementing the fuzzy logic algorithm are given in the paper.en_US
