Abstract: This project intends to assist measure temperature during pandemic of COVID-19. The objective is to develop a portable prototype of a temperature measuring gadget and to test run the system and troubleshoot the temperature measuring gadget. The focus is for the portable gadget that can be used for temperature device to sensing the temperature of human body temperature. The Government of Malaysian has given guidelines on how such a risk-based strategy can be implemented on many sides such as guideline at the school and others. This problem occurs nowadays in most universities, store market, shopping mall and other crowded area, where is the mostly temperature device is being used as contact temperature device. This project is being developed using Arduino (IDE) software to monitor the application process by editing the program in Arduino software and can be uploaded to the Arduino microcontroller via a power jack cable. The working concept that being used by Ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 is high frequency ultrasonic sound being transmit and will retransmitted if have the presence of object while it being used to detect the presence of human to scanning the temperature human body by using infrared thermometer GY-906. The basic design technology used is the Arduino Uno board with modules attached to the GY-906, HCSR04, SD Card Module with SD Card, PAM8403 amplifier, speaker 0.5 watt, the 9V rechargeable battery and the OLED 128X64 I2C IIC Serial SSD1306 screen unit. As conclusion, this project expected to give much benefit and contribution to the changes in the spread of the virus and be very useful project to be built in the industrial sector. It is believed that this project implementation has a great potential impact in the future and if the prototype function in line with the objectives, more features will be added to improve the project operation.
