Abstract: The basis of this project is about develop a exist design to the next stage which is better than before. This water skate is a part of product for new advanced technology in industry. Many types of the water skate in the marine industry can be found but it has their own specifications, size, design and etc. The objective for this project concerned to determine the requirement for design and development for design of water skate. The water skate is construct to facilitate the user while use it on water. This project can apply at recreational activities area such a lake. This water skate used the manual treadmill system that will move the water skate easily. This project is an innovation water skate that can be move to anywhere suitable place at the lake area. This water skate is equipped with the propeller and rudder system at the in stern of the water skate. The water skate can change its direction using a handle to port or starboard. This project is to reduce the more energy to use while boarding water skate. It will facilitate the user that use the water skate for recreational activities. By adding rudder, propeller and handle system it can be iconic product in market.
