Abstract: The focus of this project is developing a UniKL dragon boat paddle blade mold by according to International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF). The dragon boat paddle blade mold commonly only companies have it. the objective of the Final Year Project is to complete the design of dragon boat paddle blade following IDBF specification and develop the dragon boat paddle blade mold as per design by using CNC machine. The advantages from this project is the process and programming can be understand easily. Also, the mold can be produce by low-cost material. A study has been done by following the basic of AlphaCAM software, CNC machine programming and the actual size of dragon boat blade according to IDBF. Nowadays, commonly some of people that used this software are not understand properly the use of it. Also, there are not much in education centre that produce the product from the developed design and programming because the real simulation of CNC machine is not presented. Regarding to this problem, I decided to create the design and product from it which will meet this requirement. A research also be done to find a proper material and the measurement of dragon boat paddle blade for the project to make it much reliable as models. Technical knowledge and skills such as designing, cutting, programming and customize is needed to complete the project. All skills are learned from professionals in education place. The main materials used to make the dragon boat paddle blade mold is mild steel due to its durability and similarity to make the mold. The main materials are used because of its material properties is suitable for make the mold.
