| dc.description.abstract | In this technological advancing era, humans have developed various systems to automate their daily lives for the ease of community. Internet of Things (IoT) is the newly developed technological system that allows things in daily lives to be connected internet that can allow human to monitor and control their desired things through mobile devices. This project aims for the development of Internet of Things (IoT) for local small medium enterprise (SME). Its main objective is to allow communication between machines to achieve automation and monitoring system using Arduino as its main microcontroller to make it into an IoT system. Specifically, in this project the machine that is needed to be automated is an industrial stamping machine which are controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). There will be a system integration between Arduino and PLC to achieve item counting data collection. All the data that will be collected will be stored into IoT cloud storage where it that can be access by the user. This project may help users to obtain and store counting data on the internet which could reduce human error and reduce cost in manufacturing industry. | en_US |
