dc.description.abstractHazard cannot be predicted when and where it can happen. It can exist whether during work, rest or etc. Human can get negative impact when they are exposed to the hazard, for example, slips, leukemia and etc. Hazard always increases every year even various security measures have been carrying out. This research was conducted to identify the hazard occurrence in UniKL MIMET. UniKL MIMET is the institution that is related to the marine engineering study. This research is focusing on the staffs and students in this institution. The objective of this research is to identify the hazard occurrence in UniKL MIMET and to analyze the respondents’ perception to the recommended prevention of hazard in UniKL MIMET. The methodology used in this research is questionnaire and interview. 120 respondents have been chosen for the questionnaire method and 8 respondents were selected for the interview method. This research was analyzed by using SPSS (statistical package of the social science) software and test that have been used is Chi-square test. Chi-square test is one of the statistics methods to evaluate the advantage between the measure and the expected value.en_US
