Abstract: In this era, we have been shown with many of technologies which is give more comforting lifestyle especially to human. Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry. Focusing on the rehabilitation, it can be seen that globalization of application technology has brought us a causative environment which provides physical aids of control especially for elderlies and disables. Rehabilitation is an important healing process to restore range of motion of joint and strength of muscle. Furthermore, robots are applied to increase the efficiency of the rehabilitation process. Bio-mechatronics approach to the design and fabrication of artificial robotic arm called Upper Limb Rehabilitation Robot (ULR) consisting of a shoulder, arm, elbow and hand. The main component used are motor where these motors are responsible in mimicking the movement of shoulder, elbow and wrist joint. Result where obtained in graph form where Simulink software is used to plot the data in real-time by plotting the graph in Matlab. The collected results shows that Robotic Arms can really help in assisting the rehabilitation process as discovered. This project also using a LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) which is provide more flexibility than standard laboratory instruments. This project can give advantages on research if the input parameter needed in the flexion of elbow and wrist. This project mainly aid the users who is affected by stroke due to accident and exhortative them to exercise regularly in house without consulting the physiotherapist in the hospital. Meanwhile, this project will make the patients to be able to regain back their normal movement and to be more independent by using the project.
