The purpose of the research is to investigate the lift and drag performance of the wing, to investigate its lift and drag ratio and to investigate the effectiveness of Joined Diamond Wing in reducing aircraft space consumption. Two wings are used in the research which is monoplane wing and the joined diamond wing itself. Both wing designs have the same airfoil characteristic and span of 200 mm. Next, the wings were tested using a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel speed used for testing ranged from 5 to 30 m/s. The wing angle of attack was set at 0 degrees and tested with airspeed of 5 to 30 m/s. Reading was taken every 5 m/s of increment. The test was repeated by using angle of attack of 2, 4,6,8,10,12 and 14. The result shows that monoplane generates greater lift, lower drag and has higher stalling angle compared to diamond wing performance. Furthermore, the diamond wing model has lower lift to drag ratio compared to monoplane wing. It shows that the monoplane performs better than diamond wing. As conclusion, the diamond wing tested is not suitable as monoplane substitution.en_US
