The final year project thesis purpose are to study about the comparison in-between the effectiveness of the Penetrant Testing Fluoroscent (PT) and Eddy Current Testing (ET) on compressor blade (non-ferrous metal). The study will emphasized on the effectiveness and sensitivity of the two NDT Method which are PT and ET on the similar sample. We will carry out this project via research and hands on method. The title choose due to the various method of NDT available in aviation industries. The selection of which are most suit will determine the accuracy of the output and result thus the safety and reliability as well. Through this project, we learned about Penetrant Testing and Eddy Current Testing, and comparison the effectiveness between these two inspections. Thus, we hope through the result of this project, students or staff from MIAT can make this project as a reference to more understand PT and ET.en_US
