dc.description.abstract The paper aimed to study on the effectiveness of implementation for disaster recovery plan in managing road tanker activity. Disaster recovery is a set of documented process or procedure in preparation to cater with any probability of disaster which may occur. Case studies on a single company which are CHEMTREX SDN BHD by looking in depth into their operation have assisted the researcher to define the problem as matters. The researcher used a modified model for achieving the research purpose is this model is a modified mixture between the suggested steps or components in DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN models. Comprehensive survey technique was used, and an interview was conducted to managers or head of sections of operation in the organization. People inside the organization such as manager become as the main source of data since they the first parties when the disaster happened. However, the importance of the studies for further enhancement in disaster recovery plan is needed since the business isn’t able to avoid from a disaster simultaneously. Nevertheless, intervention by government or other authorized agency either from local or international will assist the organization in develop a policy of enforcement which indirectly will encourage their level of awareness for disaster recovery plan technique. en_US
