dc.description.abstract Throughout these recent years, wireless technologies play an important role in human daily life in all kinds of networks. The technologies demand especially required the increasing of wireless option. However, the security and the performance is a major part to concern. In this research, the performance of wireless IEEE802.11n and wireless IEEE802.11ac are evaluated on IP network application, which is voice. Due on network created, a test-bed and related performance are tested for TCP and UDP protocols. The wireless security encryption methods (disable security, WPA TKIP and WPA 2 AES) are implemented on the voice over IP (VOIP) system due to evaluate their network performance. The studies then show the impact on the performance variously such as throughput, jitter, packet loss, delay and voice quality that differently behaves to different encryption method. en_US
