Abstract:
The general idea behind this final year project is on managing of external supplier. Most organizations today have moved towards outsourcing means buying material or components from outside instead of making them in-house. To produce a quality product, manufacturer needs to have a good and reliable supplier. So it is crucial for an organization to understand the importance of having excellence supplier. A supplier assessment system is a tool employed to evaluate the performance of suppliers.
This project will focus on the development of a supplier assessment system for a selected case company. The selected case company for this project is PSB Decoration Sdn Bhd which is a firm that offers the service of designing and producing interior equipment for various types of organization located at Nusajaya, Johor Darul Takzim. With the aim to implement Total Quality Management (TQM)
in their system, this study will help them to move forward in achieving their target.
