dc.description.abstract Powder coating process is the process of applying the powder in electrostatic condition. In this project, it will focus on the two activities which is spray time and visual inspection activity on the tube sample, outside diameter 50mm, 570mm length. Currently, the spray time had been conducted by the two different operators. The result indicates that there is different in term of spray time and the powder consumption for both of operator. Another activities that been focused is on the visual inspection activity. In this case, a lot of defect was load into the process because of misperception and poor knowledge of the worker. As a result, the number of defect sample (poor tube condition) is higher than number of the rework sampling. Two overcome these problems, two approaches were developed to help the operator in improving their working style. the first approach is spray method were it focus on the standard spray by the operator and the other one is defect template where it focus on the 6 major tube abnormally that must be avoiding from entering the process. en_US
